To Enable:

Step 1: Press CALL1 button
Step 2: then, * and 4
Step 3: next, 3
Step 4: Select Programmed Message No.if applicable?
Step 5: Append with Date or Time

To Disable:

Repeat steps 1, 2 & 3 and press SPK button

The feature shown above is a great way for your Receptionist to be aware if employees step away from their workstations for an extended period. There are 10 messages that are already programmed for your convenience; some give you the option to enter the time/date you are expected to return. This feature allows anyone internally calling into an extension to know immediately that you have stepped away, and depending on your message selection, when or where you can be reached. Your Receptionist will also be able to give callers a more efficient response. The way it works is - If your extension is called internally, the individual who is calling you will show your display message on their screen. When you return, you would simply deactivate the feature. If you prefer, we can program a one-touch key on your phone to perform this. Outside callers will ring through or be transferred to your voicemail as normal.
